Disgraziata

Disgraziata is a theatrical monologue based on a true story that originates from the confessions of Carla and the testimonies of people who knew her. Carla is a prostitute who lives in Palermo and who worked in the street until age 65. The monologue arises from a craving that forces the protagonist to review the most significant events of her life, with the aim of returning to her greatest emptiness: the love for her son Michele. Carla will reach the awareness of a story that she never lived and a brutal reality that does not seek its happy ending.
