The process to create this system is a long-lasting series of attempts. The film doesn't exist until the system works. The process of making the film actually makes the film. We do not only produce the films made by the members of our collective but we also look for external collaborations with productions seeking a creative stimulus or for logistical help. Seeing the way other people work is inspiring, stimulating and necessary to raise questions on language and on innovative ways of looking. Live sound recording for films, documentaries, short films, TV or web series, and artistic projects. Audio department management on fiction sets or solo on documentary or television shoots, multi-track recording, use of radio microphones and professional microphones. The service is provided by Sebastiano Caceffo, live sound engineer and documentary filmmaker, president of the La Bandita association. Trained at the University of Bologna, the Experimental Centre of Cinematography in Palermo and Roma Tre University, Sebastiano Caceffo has been working in live sound for many years. During his career, he has handled live sound recording for films, documentaries, television series and art installations, collaborating with Italian and international productions and working on projects for cinema, television and platforms such as the BBC, Netflix, Amazon and Paramount+. The experience he has gained on sets of various scales, from fiction films to observational documentaries and artistic projects, allows him to take a flexible, precise approach that can be adapted to the specific needs of each production.
