Oscar is an 11-year-old autistic Chinese boy who lives with his mother Ayen at some Sicilian friends’ home on the outskirts of Palermo. Oscar has many fears, among all that the mother may abandon him at any moment. The only phrase he says of his own free will is “Mama don’t go”. This fear soon turns into aggression. A trip to China will detonate the conflict and a marriage will force mother and son to find a new balance in their relationship and new communication strategies.
