La Bandita is a cultural association based in Palermo working in the production and post-production of films, developing partecipatory cinema workshop, film projections and discussions that actively involve the local community.
DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKING
La Bandita is a cultural association based in Palermo, founded by a group of documentarists coming from all over Italy. Our purpose is to take care of the frailty of the present by telling stories in a way that is respectful of their complexity. As narrators we constantly readapt to the evolving complexity of what we look at, and we search for a graceful way to add to it and to condense it in a cinematographic form. We decided to gather in a collective because the group makes us understand what can be improved in a much faster and stimulating way than when one works alone. Our collective is always in search for external collaborations. La Bandita works in the production and post-production of films, developing participatory cinema laboratories, film screenings and discussions that actively involve the local community.
FILM PRODUCTION
Research and development, scouting, logistics, video shoot, sound, editing, post production, editing station rental and equipment rental.
POST- PRODUCTION
Post - production supervision and management. Conforming from different editing software and Da Vinci Resolve, color correction and color grading.
EXTRA
Photo shoot, graphic layouts for dossier, film poster, commercial, web and institutional videos, commissioned videos.
